Expanding the Use of AI in Coaching Education

One of the most impactful areas of this partnership has been Cal South’s U.S. Soccer Coaching Education C License courses — a critical mid-level certification focused on training design, principles of play, and player analysis.

Because the C License curriculum relies heavily on video review, our autonomous tracking cameras have become an essential tool. By automatically capturing consistent, high-quality footage of training sessions, XbotGo allows instructors and candidates to focus on teaching and learning rather than managing cameras.

Supporting Elite Talent Identification Through ODP

Cal South has also integrated XbotGo devices into its Olympic Development Program (ODP) Identification Camps, where top youth players are evaluated for advancement to regional and national ODP pools.

These camps demand accurate, reviewable recordings of live play so evaluators can assess technical ability, tactical decision-making, and overall performance. Our AI-powered tracking ensures the action stays in frame, giving evaluators better visibility while also providing families with access to game footage and highlights from these high-stakes environments.
