Realistic Expectations

To start off I would like to say that I have been using my Xbotgo Chameleon for 6 days and I’m 100% satisfied with this purchase and product.

For those looking to compare this product to a VEO or Pixxelot DO NOT BOTHER wasting your time doing so. Comparing those products to the Xbotgo Chameleon would be like comparing a Mercedes to a Toyota, as although both manufacturers can make reliable and dependable vehicles.

One clearly costs a significant amount more than the other.
I’ve had a few peers complain that the Xbot doesn’t have its own camera, but the fact of the matter is everyone nowadays has a phone so almost everyone has a HD/4K camera at thier fingertips.

If Xbot had installed a 4k camera into the device the price would likely double making it unaffordable for most of the general public.

The tracking does not move as quick as some of the action, but if you want to catch every; bounce, shift, pass or shot you need to have the right settings and height placement. I purchased the T1 tripod with my Xbot and quickly realized that for most sporting events the T4 would be best suited to avoid confusing the camera with people walking by the camera, and also a panned out view of the sports action.

The T1 tripod is excellent but my best analogy to give for the T1 vs the T4 would be the T1 tripod would be capture the action like if you were playing a sporting game on sideline view, whereas the T4 gives you more of the standard aerial/broadcast booth view.

Again this product has NO SUBSCRIPTION fee, merging and editing game film is easy, even for the least tech savvy individual.

I look forward to using this product for years to come to capture all of those amazing sporting moments without having to miss it live with my own 2 eyes.

Still has a ways to go

Basketball:
Doesn't track ball well

Can't keep up with action (constantly nudging it)

No pause button on remote or monitor(chops video when using stop button)

Leaves brand watermark on videos

If streaming, it stops when retrieving link from text or email (because it doesn't work in background

Can't change out battery

Playback is sometimes grainy

Customer service poor

Perfect Package

This was everything that I hoped it would be and more. I’m using it primarily for Tennis. I view my different strokes and serves and is helping me to improve also using it for others and they are very impressed.. I wish one set on targeting you could switch to a different person easier while still recording. Also wish remotely you could control the zoom. Thanks for making such a great product at a reasonable price.
