XbotGo Falcon

I’ve tried it with my grassroots football players on 9v9 pitch, The quality is good and I like the zoom option, easy to setup, great features with live streaming and all that without paying for subscription.

Only if the tracking system can improve a little bit so it won’t lose tracking for few seconds will be perfect.

We are enjoying the falcon already! So far, we’ve set it up at practice to get used to it and figure out where we want it positioned for fall football. The picture clarity has been great and the coaches are loving the ability to review practice film every day.

Great quality video, with improvements in ball tracking capabilities could make it an amazing products. Hopefully further upgrades achieve this in time

i love it. I been using it for water polo games easy to use and picture is good.

It is just what I wanted. As a coach for University Rugby, I find it faster to set up and operate than other products (which shall not be named), with the added benefit of not having to pay enormous amounts for a subscription. I would just add that it would be nice to have specific analysis for rugby and the ability to use the software on my laptop.

This is my second XbotGo product and I am speechless. The video quality of the camera it is super clear that I even recorded under the pouring rain and it never blurred out. My only suggestion would be to improve the following quality. Camera has a tendency to get stuck in a spot and would have to manually move the camera to where the ball is going. Other than that I am truly enjoying the product and looking forward to improvements with the software. It is super easy to set up and control from my cell phone.

We recently received the XbotGo Falcon, and to be honest, we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we set it up. After using it over the last two games, I can confidently say this camera has been nothing short of amazing.

The 4K clarity is outstanding, every possession, every cut, every defensive rotation shows up crisp and clean. The AI auto‑tracking is what really blew us away. It follows the action like a dedicated cameraman, staying locked onto the players and the ball without drifting or losing focus. For youth sports, where the pace can be unpredictable, that’s a game‑changer.

The Falcon has also made reviewing film with the kids so much easier. The wide-angle capture combined with smart tracking gives us a full view of the court, letting us break down spacing, effort, and execution in a way we simply couldn’t before. It’s already helped us identify areas to improve and highlight great plays the kids didn’t even realize they made.

Setup was quick, the interface is simple, and the battery life easily handled our full games. The build quality feels solid, and the camera stayed stable even in windy conditions.

Overall, the XbotGo Falcon has elevated our game‑day experience and given us professional‑level footage without needing a full camera crew. If you coach, record games, or just want high‑quality sports footage, this camera is absolutely worth it.

Great basic Camera. The latest update that removed the need for a hotspot was a huge improvement, it always caused connectivity issues. Now that it uses cellular data, the upgrade has made livestreaming much smoother. During my last stream, everything worked perfectly. Video quality is excellent, marking plays is simple, and the editing tools are very user-friendly.

I do wish there was a manual tracking option, so I could choose whether to follow the ball or a specific player. However, the biggest drawback is the auto zoom, it’s quite poor. The zoom performance might ultimately be the deciding factor in whether I stick with this camera or switch to one that handles zooming correctly.

Love the camera but I’m bummed it doesn’t follow my specific player for soccer. Doesn’t have the AI trace available for soccer only basketball. Wish I knew that before I got it but it’s still nice to record the whole game so I can enjoy it without stressing about missing a goal.

The camera is lightweight. Quick start guide makes deployment easy. Follow recommendations and spend the extra money to get high-quality micro-SD cards. The default settings work well. The capacity to live stream opens possibilities for family and friends to watch the game remotely. The ability to share without subscription costs make the investment a better and cost-effective solution for teams. Online user manuals and short videos improve user experience. recommend the package deal. The umbrella exceptionally well thought out and exceeded our expectations when a no notice deluge of rain fell. Again, it also, helps cut glare when the sun is not favorable during outdoor recording events.

Before buying I did a deep dive comparison of XbotGo falcon vs Veo vs Trace cameras all with the need to film my 4 kids playing multiple sports throughout a year.

I did not like the expensive and really restrictive subscription models from Veo and Trace and XbotGo Falcon hit it out of the park in that category. It does about 3 out of 5 stars when it comes to auto tracking the soccer game though and at least a few times a game it stops following the action where the ball is for no real reason. The three biggest improvements I feel should be made ASAP are 1. Improve ai tracking. Possibly even less small movements all the time and instead just think of a soccer field as three distinct views, looking left looking straight or looking right and if needed one more zone on each side between straight ahead and left or between straight ahead and right.

2. Make the camera movements smoother so it's not so jittery. The footage often looks really jolting around and shaky from sharp fast movements. This is especially a problem in manual camera control. If the ai tracking gets lost and I have to manually movie it it's way too jerky.

3. I love the fact that it lets me create auto highlights around markers. It saves tye markers I ass during the game and I love that I can add more afterwards by watching the replay and adding more markers. The only issue I have with that is when I watch the video afterwards to add markers I need a button to save my progress I'm case I have to stop and come back to finish adding some more markers later

🧡💙 I love it once I have figured out all the little bits to it we as a team can go forwards and learn from our mistakes at the same time as enjoy them massive 5* from us I don't know how we didn't have one from the very beginning

I use it for recording basketball games and the device records it well. I like the open format where I can use the files in my preferred analytical tool in stead of being forced of using the manufacturer’s analytical tool. The device does require you to read the manual and do actions. It’s is not a one button auto-magic solution. But you do not mind doing up to 10 clicks and like not paying a yearly subscription, like good image footage, this device is great.

Everything about this camera is an upgrade from the Chameleon. From the app software to the automatic scene mapping and spot on tracking. Love this upgrade! The new NT4 Pro tripod is outstanding! I don’t need to haul a sand bag since the base is so wide.

I have now used my camera in both practice and a scrimmage. I was able to not only watch film with the boys but clip snippets for their parents and send full matches to their parents as well. I haven't tried out the live feature myself but I have watched other live videos which is a great way to evaluate the product before you purchase. Just download the app. Sign up for an account and go look up who's streaming their games. I've had multiple people compliment the quality of the camera and the videos and best of all there's no subscription! Very happy with the purchase and will definitely be recommending the camera.

I've only had the camera for a month now and have used it for two preseason friendlies, really impressed with:

1. the ease of set up and use
2. picture quality and play back
3. simple process to share the video
4. the overall quality of the camera, case and tripod

As some other reviews mention the ball tracking isn't 100%, but it is good overall, working on the 80/20 rule.

I have shared the video with other coaches as well, who are very impressed and are now looking to get one for themselves.

I hope they add thermal imaging and statistics so that the camera is fully integrated and AI-powered analysis is used in soccer.

Gave this as a gift to a family member so we could watch our grand kids’ sports. (We live 250 mi. away) Not only is the clarity clear, but the sound is great also. Others have commented on how professional and awesome the picture is!

The XbotGo Falcon is a surprisingly capable device that delivers excellent performance for its size and price. Its tracking accuracy, stabilization, and overall build quality feel premium, and it handles fast movement far better than many competitors in the same range. For anyone who wants smooth, reliable footage without spending a fortune, the Falcon really shines.
That said, it isn’t perfect. The battery drains quicker than expected, especially during longer sessions, and the Wi‑Fi connection can be inconsistent, which sometimes interrupts the experience. These issues don’t ruin the product, but they’re worth knowing about.Despite a couple of small drawbacks, the XbotGo Falcon is a strong performer and a great choice for anyone looking for smooth, automated tracking. If the battery life and Wi‑Fi stability get improved in future updates or models, it could easily be a 5‑star product.

I was VERY skeptical of the Falcon after years of using Trace and Veo, but let me tell you, it is very superior to Trace in terms of video quality and the fact you own it outright versus renting it is a plus for the price. I think it’s a direct competitor to Veo 2 or 3 and is cheaper than Veo, so as long as you are willing to learn the interface, you’ll have a superior product with no subscriptions.

Great value for the money. Recording is clear and not having to pay a subscription and be able to download games directly from the micro sd card is huge. A few things could be better but as I said the value is there. Some improvements would be: AI tracking is good but can get lost sometimes although it usually corrects itself (all AI tracking systems have this issue but Falcon definitely corrects better and faster than most), better zoom (far corners of the field especially, another common problem on all AI cameras), make software easier for zone mapping (the software reduces the screen size to input corner locations and makes it harder than it needs to be) and improve access to the micro sd card. Someone with bigger hands like me can struggle to remove the card to download to a pc. Card push eject works fine, just not enough of space for bigger hands to extract the card itself.

Overall a really really good camera system. A few improvements like those above and it would be the best one on the market.

Spectacular video quality and significantly improved ball tracking for soccer games. Battery life is decent. It would be nice if the case had a molded section to hold the quick release plate.
